Seamers was established in 1989 as a dedicated venue for indoor cricket. Over the years, the facility has expanded its offerings to include indoor netball and indoor junior soccer, catering to a wider audience and fostering community engagement through sports. This diversification has made it a popular hub for indoor sports enthusiasts.

Today, Seamers holds the distinction of hosting the largest number of senior indoor cricket teams in Australia. This achievement highlights its prominent role in the development and promotion of indoor cricket at a national level, serving as a cornerstone for both casual players and competitive athletes.

As the oldest indoor sports center in Perth, Seamers carries a rich legacy of sporting excellence and community connection. Its longevity is a testament to its commitment to providing quality facilities and programs, making it a beloved institution among Perth's sports community.
